Distributor solution
From a client brief to a link the buyer can act on
The loop is short on purpose: choose products from real supplier listings, decorate the supplier's own photography, and publish one collection the client can react to, comment on, and buy from.
- Where the products come from
- Supplier listings with their own colorways, sizes, SKUs and minimums
- Where the mockup comes from
- The supplier's product photograph, decorated in place
- What the client gets
- One link, with prices and minimums shown before checkout
Choosing products
The catalog is supplier data, not a guess
A product in MerchMaker carries the listing it came from: the colorways that exist, the sizes that exist, the SKUs, the decoration locations the supplier will imprint, and the minimum quantity attached to each. You build the shortlist against that, so a product cannot reach a client with a colorway nobody stocks.
- Colorways, sizes and SKUs come from the supplier listing
- Decoration locations and imprint capabilities come with the listing too
- Each listing carries its own minimum quantity
Making the mockup
The logo goes on the product, not on a template
MerchMaker renders the decoration onto the supplier's photograph of that product, in the location the listing allows. A person reviews the result before it can appear in a collection — an unreviewed render never reaches a buyer.
- Renders are made from the real product photo, per colorway
- A reviewer accepts or rejects each one before it can be published
- Rejections carry a reason, so the next attempt has something to go on
Sending it
One link instead of a thread
Publishing a collection produces a single share link. The buyer opens it without an account, sees the assortment with your pricing applied, reacts to the items they like, and leaves comments you can read back in the app.
- The buyer needs no login to open the link
- Reactions and comments come back attached to the item
- You set the margin and the pricing policy before you publish
Approvals
The steps that spend money stay deliberate
Publishing a collection, anything financial, and anything destructive go through a preview first: you see the effects and the cost, and an admin authorises before it commits. It is a small amount of friction in exactly the places where a mistake is expensive.
- Preview shows the effects and the cost before anything happens
- An admin authorises; the authorisation is single-use and expires
- Everyone else can request one instead of being blocked
Questions
Can I sign up and try it?
Not yet. MerchMaker is invitation-only while we onboard distributors one at a time, so access starts with a demo rather than a sign-up form.
Does MerchMaker replace my suppliers?
No. The catalog is built from supplier listings and the minimums are the supplier's own. MerchMaker is where you assemble and present the work, not where the goods come from.
What happens after a client approves?
A guest checkout produces an order, and MerchMaker plans it against the listings it was built from. It does not run decoration or shipping for you — see the order handoff page for exactly where the line sits.
